Vulnerable moments
Sofie Vandam’s work caught our eye at Narafi’s final year students’ exhibition held at the begining of the summer at Tour & Taxis. “Photography and psychology are often closely related. Get your camera up and people will often adopt an attitude or behave differently.” Her Vulnerable Moments series portrays people in their own environment, exposing their most vulnerable and intimate side. “A non-evident task, but due to the mutual trust that was created overtime, the portrayed persons were able to behave as if no photographer was around.”
